Snowball & back

Tend hogs… envy pig’s vile food?
5   Gross! Skint. Alone. (Noise: tummy
6   Rumble within). Waster senses better course –
 because workers usually receive stomach-comfort.
 Regret, return. Fields-labour, ‘family reject’ pleads –
7   Servant? Humbles himself,
8 letters [1]   Prodigal attitude repented.
7   Father’s looking, eagerly desires…
6    Return, meekly, feeble speech
5   Ready. Tired. Wiser. Greet!
4   Seen! Yell! Rush, rush! ‘Hire – ‘
 Give! Ring, coat, kiss, plus shoe, shoe, also hugs –
  kill calf, make rare beef wrap
 with yams, leek, dips, beer! – note: been long

 Dad: ‘Son was not, but – wow! – now
